The Incarnation (c)

 

1. Read Isaiah 6:3, Romans 1:20, and Ephesians 1:22-23.  If God is everywhere and his glory fills the earth, why did he choose to take on a human body and live on earth as a human being?

 

2. Read Matthew 28:18-20.  Do Christians believe in three Gods or one?

 

3. Read Acts 16:6-7.  Who was leading Paul and his companions, the Holy Spirit, or the Spirit of Jesus, or the spirit of God?

 

4. Read John 14:1-4 and 15-18, Ephesians 1:15-23, 3:14-21, and 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17.   Do you see the three persons of the Trinity here?

 

5. Read 1 John 1:1-4 and 4:1-3.  Is Jesus part God and part man, sometimes God and sometimes man, or completely God all the time and completely man all the time?
