1. Read Mark 2:1-12.

(a)    How many surprising things do you see happening in this story?

(b)   What does Jesus mean to teach the people through these surprising actions and words?

(c)    Does the announcement of forgiveness of sins come before the man has faith or after?  Before the healing or after?  Why

 

2. Read Mark 9:2-8.  What riddle is Jesus posing here for the disciples?  What is the answer?

 

3. Read Mark 5:22-34.  Why did the woman think she was doing a bad thing?  How does 2 Corinthians 5:21 help you understand that what she did was exactly what God wanted?
